POSTMASTER GRADE- III :  latest update:-

GRADE-III CAT CASE OF AP CIRCLE

        The Circle Office filed reply statement against CAT case filed by Grade-II officials in the month of July 2013 on 20.01.14.  It is stated that, due to non completion of  the initial constitution, the Grade-III posts should be filled through HSG-I officials.  Only 4 HSG-I officials opted for Grade-III.  The Circle Office requested to vacate the Stay Order issued by the CAT, Hyderabad for filling up of Grade-III posts through initial constitution and there by filled the remaining posts through eligible Grade-II officials.  The case may be come for hearing within fortnight.

Yesterday, Central Government has appointed a committee for implementing an another and 7th pay commission for Central Government Employees.

Former Judge
Mr. Justice Ashok Kumar Mathur,                                       M.A.,L.L.B – was born on August 7, 1943 . He was enrolled as an Advocate of the Rajasthan High Court on October 20, 1967 . He was appointed as Assistant Government Advocate and Deputy Government Advocate on August 2, 1969 and Government Advocate of Jodhpur from January 31, 1977 to July 12, 1978 . Appointed as Additional Advocate General in 1981. He was appointed as Additional Judge on July 13, 1985 and permanent Judge of the Rajasthan High Court on July 23, 1986 . He was transferred to the Madhya Pradesh High Court on February 18, 1994 . He was appointed as Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court from February 3, 1996 . Transferred to the Calcutta High Court on December 22, 1999 .  He was elevated as Judge , Supreme Court of India on June 7, 2004.

Filling up of  POSTMASTER GRADE – III  : LATEST UPDATE:

LETTER TO SRI.M.KRISHNAN,

DEAR COMRADE SRI, M.KRISHNAN,
        Please recollect the personal conversation along with Sri. MGS Beig, div. Sec, Hyd city division, dated 19.04.13 at Hyderabad and e mail dated 08.09.13, where in requested to stop the filling up of Grade-III posts through newly appointed HSG-I officials.  But no action has been taken since elapsed 9 months.  As all know the initial constitution has been completed in the year 2011, again the DOP has ordered to fill up the Grade-III posts through HSG-I officials in the month of July 2013.  The officials who opted Postmaster Cadre deprived a lot due to junior most HSG-II officials were promoted to HSG-I. 
          You were taken more pain, and succeeded to fill up the HSG-I posts through HSG-II officials who completed 3 years of service,  even though revised recruitment rules were not finalised.
          On receipt of several demands, the DOP has taken steps to fill up the Grade-III posts through Grade-II officials, who completed 3 years of service in the month of December 2013.  But till date no fruitful justice were passed by the competent authority.
          As a Secretary General of NFPE  and General Secretary of AIPEU Gr-c, one can have the powers to solve the discrimination raised between Grade and HSG-I Officials.
          I once again demand that,  take immediate action to fill up the Grade-III posts through Grade-II officials as they have completed 5 years of service as on 01.01.2014 before 2nd week of February 2014.

Directorate is waiting for the outcome of the CAT case pending in ANDHRA circle. It is told that filling up of Grade -III posts in Andhra Circle is stayed by CAT. Please email a copy of the CAT order if it is available with you to enable me to understand what Directorate says is correct or not.

50 per cent DA in the basic pay is set to merge soon ::


Govt. exercises to attract 38 lakh workers, 25 lakh pensioners 20 thousand crore additional burden on the exchequer Govt eyes on approximately 2 and half crore votes of Central government employees and pensioners and their families. Govt is preparing to merge 50 per cent dearness allowance (DA) into the basic pay to attracted approximately 38 lakh employees and 25 lakh pensioners. That would be in the next fortnight. If it happen, extra burden would cost of Rs 20,000 crore to the exchequer.  It may be pressure of employees of Trade Union/ threatening of indefinite strike by the central govt. employees with railway employee or it may be trial of attraction of 2.5 carores of voters. Infact D.A. is being merged with basic salary. The Secretary General of the AIRF Mr. Shiva Gopal Mishra who is representing nearly 12 lakh employees says last days, that he had corresponded with the Prime Minister's Office and the Finance Ministry. He also met with Secretary of expenditure in this connection.   This indicates that it will be announced just after the vote on account of parliament. Press Secretary of National Federation of Indian Railwaymen Mr. S.N. Malik said that the Cabinet note in this regard has become according to PMO sourcese. There is a file lying in the PMO at this time regarding this connection. It will be announced someday next week when Parliament is in session.

ACCEPTANCE OF  CASH MAXIMUM LIMIT FOR  NSCs PURCHASE AT POST OFFICES – CLARIFICATION .
POST OFFICES ARE ISSUING NSCs and acceptance of  Cash for various deposits .  Some offices are accepting  cash un limit for direct investment (not through SAS agents) . A clarification asked and the copy of clarification is placed for reference.
