Dearness Allowance/Dearness Relief from July, 2014 @ 107% : After releasing of June, 2014 All India Consumer Price Index now the news regarding 107%  DA/DR due from July, 2014 has clouded in media.  This is first chance for Modi Govt. to announce increase in Dearness Allowance/Dearness Relief for Central Government Employees & Pensioners.  The news in media also highlighting the Confederation demand of Merger of DA/DR in basic pay/pension.   However, the central government employees’ union is not very enthused by the 7 per cent hike in the dearness allowance as their long pending demand of merger of DA with basic pay has not been given heed by 7th Pay Commission and the government.

attendance of govt staff to be tracked online through attendance.gov.in : A revolutionary step towards monitoring and tracking the work of  government officials, the NDA government has launched an “attendance website” to serve as a centralized database for all central government employees.  Though the website, attendance.gov.in, is still in the process of being developed, officials said it is expected to be modelled on the lines of similar websites of the Jharkhand government and the Department of Electronics and Information Technology.

ALL  INDIA ASSOCIATION OF  POSTAL SUPERVISORS (GL) – CWC HELD  SUCCESSFULLY ON 27.08.2014  AT  HYDERABAD .

 The  AIAPS (GL) cwc meeting has been held at Hyderabad on 27.08.2014 . The members from various states Delhi, U.P, Tamilnadu & A.P..  etc.,  Circles has been participated in the meet. Sri Mahoj Bhardwaj, G.S , CHQ New delhi, Sri  Seshadri, President, CHQ,  Sri K. Kanniappan, Ex-GS  and other members discussed the  organizational issues.  Adjoining of the Postmaster cadre  issues studied.  The  G.S , President along with association members visited the  DAK SADAN and met with  CPMG  Sri B.V.Sudhakar .
