Subject: Payment of Productivity Linked Bonus to all eligible non-gazetted Railway employees for the financial year 2013-2014.

The President is pleased to sanction provisionally, subject to the approval of competent authority, Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) equivalent to 78 [Seventy Eight] days wages without any ceiling on wages for eligibility for the financial year 2013-14 to all eligible non-gazetted Railway employees (excluding all RPF/RPSF personnel]. Where wages exceed Rs. 3500/- per month, Productivity Linked Bonus will be calculated as if‘wages’ are Rs. 3500/- p.m.

2. ‘Wages’ for the purpose of calculating Productivity Linked Bonus shall include ‘Basic pay’ as defined in the Railway Services [Revised Pay] Rules, 2008 and dearness allowance drawn during the financial year 2013-14. Other conditions of eligibility, method of calculation of wages, etc., as prescribed in this Ministry‘s instructions and clarifications issued from time to time, shall remain unchanged.

3. It has also been decided that in the case of eligible employees mentioned in Para 1 above who were not placed under suspension, or had not quit service/retired/expired during the financial year 2013-14 or were on leave where leave salary admissible is not less than that admissible on leave on average pay, may be paid an amount of Rs. 8975/- towards Productivity Linked Bonus for the financial year 2013-14. in the case of employees other than those mentioned above, the amount of Productivity Linked Bonus may be calculated in accordance with the extant instructions on the subject.

4. Further, in relaxation to the provisions in Rules 905(2), 908 and 909 of State Railway Provident Fund Rules, as contained in Chapter 9 of R-l/1985 edition (2003 Reprint edition), such of the subscribers to the SRPF as are entitled to Productivity Linked Bonus may, if they so desire, deposit the whole or part of the amount admissible under the Scheme in their respective State Railway Provident Fund Accounts.

5. Disbursement of Productivity Linked Bonus for the financial year 2013-14 to all eligible non-gazetted Railway employees mentioned in Para 1 above should be made on priority before the ensuing Puja/Dussehra holidays.

6. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

ANR’s  Birthy day Celebrated in grand way today :-  The clock is ticking for  Sri Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s birth anniversary on September 20^th and it is being done in a grand way world wide.  Last year on the same day I have an opportunity to greet him at his residence  at Road no 17, Jubileehills. He was very very busy at that time for receiving more and more wishes from his fans and friends .  Perhaps he knew that it was his last birth day. But telugu people never forget him still he is alive in their eyes.

Sub: Conducting of Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts (66.66%) Departmental quota for the year 2014 to be held on 20th and 21st September, 2014 and LGO Examination, 2014 proposed to be held on 21st September, 2014.

  I am directed to refer this office letter No. A-34012/03/2014-DE and A-34012/04/2014-DE dated 3^rd June, 2014 wherein the   notifications  for  holding  Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion of LGO to the cadre of PA/SA for the year 2014 to be held on 21^st September, 2014 and LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector  posts  for the year 2014  on 20^th and 21^st September, 2014 were issued.

2.         The Outsourced Agency, M/s CMC Ltd. has intimated that conduct of the above mentioned examination on the scheduled dates is not feasible.  Therefore, the Competent Authority has ordered to postpone both the departmental examinations. The revised dates would be intimated shortly.

3.         This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.

Movable property point of view:- 

(1). Theft fear for themselves and their family numbers for cash and jewellery point .

(2). A person savings every year some amount and as he has accumulated let us  say 50 lakh in PPF deposit  over a period of years while showing this amount as asset in web badly reflect on employee side.

(3). May lead some personal obligations for asking Loan by some one are relatives etc.

(4). The data may misuse by others. 

(5) Let an employee starts savings by  not knowing to family members  by declaring the amount may lead to diversion to other purpose and savings aim of the employee spoils.

Immovable Property point of view:-

       1)      A land or Plot purchased long back with low cost and now having lakhs of Value.

2)      While watching the data unnecessary calls from  non life(Vehicle and fire)  / life insurance company agents.

3)      There is a scope of  financial barrier among employees.
