Drawal  of   D.A arrears   to Gramin Dak Sevaks engaged as Substitute in   Postmen / Mail Guard  and  MTS (Gr-D) short term  vacancies:-  

As per memo no No.1-20/2008-PCC, Government of India, Ministry of Communications & IT,Department of Posts,Dak Bhavan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi – 110001, Dated: 27.03.2009  the GDS those who engaged in postmen/Mail guard/MTS short term vacancies ordered for payment of arrears  on consequent upon the implementation of  VI CPC.  But now some divisions/HOs  the enhanced  D.A (100% wef 01.01.2014)  arrears to GDS those who worked in these vacancies are not being paid (DA arrears from 01-2014 to 03-2014)  date for want of clarification etc.,  GDS those who engaged in Postmen/mail guard / MTS are eligible for drawal of  D.A arrears because it has  not been paid to their GDS post.
