    INDIA POST  tie - up  WITH  BEAM : 


Beam, India's revolutionary mobile wallet and mobile/e-commerce marketplace, is rolling out its services in 29 major post offices across Uttarakhand. Now customers can avail services like mobile, data card, DTH recharges, utility payments, rail, air & bus tickets, cinema tickets and e-commerce payments at a post office near them. All this can be done conveniently without using credit/debit cards or net banking.

With its innovative and ultra-convenient payment services, Beam endeavors to enable, empower and enrich its customers with the convenience of offering an ever increasing bouquet of services. Beam operates a mobile-based cashless financial transaction system allowing the unbanked and banked to transact with anyone, anytime and anywhere including at post offices. To reach out to large number of individuals in southern India, Beam services are also made available at 100 post offices across Tamil Nadu, which provides air ticketing services to the consumers.  

Sharing his perspective on the tie-up with India Post, Mr. Anand Shrivastav, CMD, Beam said, "Our tie-up with India Post is strategic which brings together Beam's unique digital commerce and the vast distribution network of India Post to enable customers the convenience of performing an ever increasing range of transactions at their neighborhood post office." Shri MS Ramanujan, Chief Post Master General, India Post - Uttarakhand said, "We feel that with our tie-up with Beam, we will give people a reason to visit their trusted Post Office for regular day-to-day transactions as well."


Working closely with more than 50,000 partners across India, Beam today is successful in reaching to more than 1.4 crore customers. There is an ever growing bouquet of services from remote payments, telecom and DTH recharge, rail, air and bus bookings, cinema tickets, utility payments and much more. Financial transaction services to enable trade flows as well as other financial products would be provided shortly.
