THREE YEARS RIGOROUS IMPRISONMENT TO  THE  THEN SPM IN CASE  OF CORRUPTION  ::

The Special Judge for CBI cases, Visakhapatnam has convicted Sri Nemana Jagannadham, the then Sub Post Master, Bobbili Bazar Sub Post Office, Bobbili, Vizianagaram District U/s. 420, 467, 468, 471, 477-A IPC and Sec.13(1)(c)(d) r/w.13(2) of PC Act, 1988 and sentenced him to undergo three years Rigorous Imprisonment with fine of Rs. 10,000/- in a fraud case.             It was alleged that during the period 23.01.2006 to 24.09.2007, Sri N. Jagannadham, the then Sub Post Master, Bobbili Bazar Sub Post Office, Bobbili cheated the depositors and defrauded the Department of Posts to the tune of Rs.12,38,242/-(approx). The accused fraudulently withdrew the deposits from the accounts of the depositors by forging their signatures on withdrawal vouchers and not accounting for the deposits in the accounts of the depositors.
