The out going (retiring) UPA govt. may not
take major decision on Retirement age @ 62
:-
Reasons: (i) Previously retirement age raised in the year
1998 not in an election year.
(ii) UPA is Proposing Youth
leader ship.
(iii)
Fear from UN- employed youth.

There is no demand from (like strike demands etc.,) unions.
(v)
State govt. having retirement age @58. There is a demand in states for increase of
retirement age on par with Central Govt. employees.
(vi)
By postponing retirements paying salaries is also a
burden to govt.
MERGER OF
50% DA
:
News
are spreading on the issue of merger
of 50% DA. The UPA shall not consider this issue with a reason that the

"CLOUD " Storate :-
Cloud
storage is nothing new. It used to be primarily designers for file sharing and
easy accessibility between clients, but as technology advances sharing services
have grown in popularity and accessibility. And with the release of Google Drive
, cloud storage services were thrown into the limelight.
To
all those who said Google Drive
was coming in to take over the market, you may have spoken too soon. Although
Google Drive will indeed become a major player in the cloud storage market, it
is truly a Google Docs upgrade and a complete branding overhaul rather than an
all inclusive storage service (as of now at least). Google Drive could be a great addition to
other cloud storage services, but isn’t yet positioned to be a direct
competitor to Dropbox orSkyDrive. Image via thenextweb.com

Merging 50% dearness allowance with basic pay. It was expected that the

employees are 50% DA Merger, Interim relief and raising retirement age to 62 .
So far Central government is not telling anything against about this recently.
The report published by news websites and TV Media have suggested that decision on this issue will be announced today positively.
Poll gift :- Govt likely to increase and merge dearness allowance
with basic pay:
The government may
increase and merge dearness allowance (DA) with basic pay with the Union
Cabinet expected to include the proposal as part of the terms of reference of
the 7th pay commission. The
move will facilitate announcement of interim relief to more than 50 lakh
government employees and 30 lakh pensioners by the newly-constituted pay
commission before the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha polls come into force.
Central government employees unions have been demanding that besides raising DA to 100%, the government should revise the pay and merge DA with basic pay, considering market inflation and price hike of essential commodities. //times ofindia //

What is Windows XP end of support?
Microsoft has provided support for Windows XP for the past 12 years. But now the time has come for us, along with our hardware and software partners, to invest our resources toward supporting more recent technologies so that we can continue to deliver great new experiences. As a result, after April 8, 2014, technical assistance for Windows XP will no longer be available, including automatic updates that help protect your PC. Microsoft will also stop providing Microsoft Security Essentials for download on windows XP on this date. (If you already have Microsoft Security Essentials installed, you will continue to receive anti-malware signature updates for a limited time, but this does not mean that your PC will be secure because Microsoft will no longer be providing security updates to protect your PC.)
If you continue to use Windows XP
after support ends, your computer will still work but it might become more
vulnerable to security risks and viruses. Also, as more software and hardware
manufacturers continue to optimize for more recent versions of Windows, you can
expect to encounter greater numbers of apps and devices that do not work with Windows XP.
