General Body meeting of Postmasters cadre Association – A.P circle :
Sri YSR Srinivasulu, President (AP
circle), Sri DSK Prasad, Circle Secretary.
The minutes of the meeting held on 09.02.2014 at
10.00 Hrs to 16.00 Hrs. at Vijayanagar
colony , Hyderabad-
500 057 is as follows:-
1). CAT case of Postmaster Grade-III : Decided to go
a head until final judgment of this case.
2). Almost all members accepted to resign their
parent unions and join to All India
Association of Postal Supervisors (AIAPS(GL))-General Line.
3). Not to participate in two days proposed strike
held from 12.02.2014 to 13.02.2014.
More than
25 postmasters attended the meeting and
expressed their views:-
1.
Sri Prasad , PM
Gr-I (Jogipet):- Expressed the present need to switch over to the new
association.
2.
Sri VSR Rao,
PmGr-I (Yemmiganur): Discussed the merits and demerits of the issues.
3.
Sri Brahmanadam,
Pm gr-I : Explained the cadre facing the
problems.
4.
Sri Anil Kumar,
PM gr-I (kankipadu) : Explained need to join the new AIAPS(GL), Discussed
issues on new other duties ready to assign by postmaster cadre v.i.z, CBS, PLI
decentralization at H.Os (Head postmasters are competent to pay loans and
settle claims in respect of PLI) etc. In spite off giving facilities adding
other burdens to the cadre.

Sri YSR
Srinivasulu, PMGR-II: Discussed in
detail and asked the opinions of postmasters to join in new association. Said
that the main reason is reorganization problem for present association.
6.
Sri DSK Prasad,
PMGr-I : Explained the reasons to join
in new existing association. Need of recognized
association to dealt with present problems with administration. This is the correct time to take correct decision.
Sri M.S.Beig, PMgr-II , M.S.Reddy, PMGr-I & other Postmasters participated
in the discussions. Declarations to join in AIAPS(GL) collected and more than 50 declarations received as on date.
It is Sure that all most all postmaster
cadre in A.P circle (Total 172) shall ready to join in AIAPS(GL).
What about the stand of All India Postmasters association with regard to strike
