The   out going (retiring) UPA govt.  may not  take  major decision on  Retirement age   @ 62  :-

Reasons: (i)       Previously retirement age raised in the year 1998 not in an  election year.

                (ii)       UPA is Proposing Youth leader ship.

(iii)               Fear from UN- employed youth.

(iv)              There is no demand from (like strike demands etc.,) unions.

(v)                State govt. having retirement age @58.  There is a demand in states for increase of retirement age on par with Central Govt. employees.

(vi)              By postponing retirements paying salaries is also a burden to govt.

                

                                     

MERGER OF 50%  DA  :

               News are spreading on the issue of  merger of  50% DA.  The UPA shall  not consider this issue with a reason that the VII CPC is already announced by the UPA.

100%  DA wef: 01.01.2014.  :-     The cabinet will announce the DA. @100 % wef 01.01.2014 payable after March ending.
